Objective:
Create an experience fits the theme of “play” for Singapore Art Week 2023.
Approach:
Encourage people to question the formalities of the art world and the true worth of art, by playing on the rarefied auction houses.
We did this by holding the first-ever informal art auction, Worthington’s — freeing audiences from the etiquettes of the art world with questionable paddles, 36 lots of ‘fine art’, and a drag queen auctioneer.
